I am attempting to find updates and fixes to my installed programs using the RPM utility in Mandriva 2006. After selecting a series of updates to install the system request I insert "Mandriva Free CD#2" after inserting the cd it makes the same request. If I hit cancel it stops the update process. Help please.
Maybe try burning a new CD or using online Mandriva rpm sources.
After clicking around I found a screen which allows me to select where the package managers looks for RPMs. I de-selected Mandriva CD#1, CD#2, and CD#3. Now everything works fine.
I've disallowed the CD as a resource, and i'm using purely the easyurpmi resources detailled in the sticky at the top of the Distros>Mandriva forum.
No problems thus far.
