RPM Problem


Dear All
i'm using FC2 and i usually have problem with rpm files
when i install a RPM it says it is already installed and when i want to erase it it says it doesn't find such package.
What Is The Problem?

Are you using rpm from the command line? Could you please post the exact commands that you use (copy and paste from the terminal window).

you're confusing file names and package names.

rpm -Uvh blah-1.23-i686.rpm

but

rpm -e blah-1.2.3
or
rpm -e blah
