RPM files is what Linux don't "see".

People let me try to explain, the purpouse to try to use "rpm" files is to install the latest version of XFree86. I downloaded using the only thing I have available to do that WindowsME. Yes I have partially installed WinLinux2001 but the only thing I have is the prompt. From WindowsME, I am able to see C:\Linux\home\R2RO\XFree86.4.0.3.i386.rpm plus C:\Linux\home\R2RO\Desktop where Desktop is a directory. Now when I reboot and go into Linux, what I see is /home/R2RO/Desktop. As you can see Linux don't see the rpm file I whish to install. And that is the problem.

You'd do much better getting a real distro and installing it on its own partition.
