rpm downloads
 

just curious, I'm running mandrake 8.1, but the rpm files i see for download are always redhat 7.x. can i use these files or do I need to use the tar.gz files. i only ask cause the rpm files are a bit easier to install.

they refer to them as redhat files cause rpm stands for redhat package manager.. mandrake has no problems as it mainly uses rpm to install its packages..
