RPM Dependencies

Isn't there a command I saw somewhere in these forums that would check all your RPM installed packages for their valid dependencies? I am using Red Hat 9, and just wanted to check that all my installed RPMs were'nt missing any needed files.

Thanks

have you been deleting files?

the reason I ask is that you cannot install or uninstall an rpm and create a dependency problem unless you force it.

man rpm

will show all of the options

rpm -a -verify | grep missing

this could take a long time.
