RPM


I recently installed Fedora 13,and i noticed that when i downlaod a rpm package and i want to install it it always says that is corupted or not trusted and exit instalation,with almost all rpm. Why is that ? i have the latest RPM installed.

Well corrupted will be a duff download, but not trusted means you won't have the right rpm keys installed. Wherever you get the rpm from, you shoudl be able to also get the key for that rpm vendor and install it using the "rpm -import" command. Then rpm will trust that source.

Of course, in general you shouldn't need to download many rpm's at all, using yum instead to do it automatically.
