Question .rpm


ok i dowloaded ettercap.i386.rpm, i double clicked the file, it ran throught the packet install, and umm now where did it go?

you read the readme?

what is this?

try just typing in ettercap

if its a excuteable, it prob added it to a sbin/bin dir

so u can just type the filename anywhere

man ettercap might work

You should be able to use rpm to find all of the files contained in a package. Try entering rpm -ql ettercap or rpm -qd ettercap to get a list of the documentation files.
