router not responding for distribution

am using ubuntu 8 but my router can not distribute evenly what is the problem? Can someone assist me?

Someone might be able to, if you described the problem a bit better. What do you mean by your "router can not distribute evenly"?? What does that mean?

If you're having a problem with your hardware router, that doesn't have anything to do with Linux, or any other machine connected to it....

Could you please explain your issue with a little more detail? Is your internet not working as well as it did? Can you not get online?
