I am running RHEL 6.2 on my laptop using VMware player. It is being used at home to practice for RHCSA prep class that I am currently taking. I was adding users to the system as practice on the command line. Tried using gui to view users currently added. I was prompted to type in my root password and when I did it would not accept it. My login password and root password were setup the same. I have no problem loging into the system, just getting administrative permission. Does anyone have a suggestion to get in and add my root password back
