Can you post your /etc/fstab file?

This is how I got it work:

/dev/hda1 /mnt/C ntfs users,rw,uid=1000 0 0
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/D vfat users,rw,uid=1000 0 0
/dev/hdc1 /mnt/E vfat users,rw,uid=1000 0 0
Etc..

This is how I got it to work. 102 is the gid of the group I created.

/dev/hda1 /mnt/C ntfs defaults,gid=102,umask=002 0 0
/dev/hda3 /mnt/D vfat defaults,gid=102,umask=002 0 0
/dev/hda5 /mnt/E vfat defaults,gid=102,umask=002 0 0
/dev/hdb5 /mnt/F vfat defaults,gid=102,umask=002 0 0
