root at pts/1 and Putty
 
Alright im havin one heck of a time with reconnecting to a previous session. I putty'ed into one of my edge switches and was running it in the background that was running a syncdb prohram on a linux box. It says that my session is still open but i have no idea of how to reconnect to the existing session it tellms me its on root at pts/1 and i think i need to get to root at pts/2 i need some serious help. :(

Is this session already closed? And why would you want to reconnect to the same session?

no it is still running and it has pertanent info running on it

Once your logged in does "screen -r <program>" work?
