roaming question

Hi, guys

i'm using Fedora 13 with wireless card: Intel 622 ANHMW

i'm testing the roaming quility under F13 ,

if i set 3 ap's with same SSID "51g" and different channel "1" "6" "11"

I can roaming from ap's when the strength of ap is less than 50%(maybe)

but if the strength of ap1 is greater than 70%(maybe) ,

i can't roaming to another ap2 although the laptop just put beside ap2

1. can i set some files that indicate what strength F13 will detect another ap ?

2. when the ap's strength less than a value , it take about 30's or more to detect & transfer from weak ap to strength ap , does that situation normal ? or how to speed up the ap's roaming ?

thanks for your reading!
