rm'd my ip_conntrack.irc... reload?!?!
Hey Guys and Gals,
I'm probably the greenest newbie around. Here's the proof... I removed the ip_conntrack_irc.o file from my linux server. Since I couldn't get it to work, I thought I'd remove the file and re-insmod it only to find that the system couldn't find the file. Could someone please let me know if I have to re-install everything or just this file?!?!?! Thanks!! Brad. :newbie: :( |
Welcome to LQ
Your problem would depend on your distro and how the kernel was installed. It could be as simple as reinstalling the same kernel-2.4.??-??.?.rpm with this command, as root.. rpm -iv --force filename You can get the rpm from the cd or download it. You should however get the updated kernel anyway, so no big deal just download it from fill-in-your-distro.com and install it with this command. rpm -Uv filename Other than that we need more info. |
