RHN9 - Gnome crash, KDE doesnot work

Hi,
I upgraded to RHN9 from RHN8 today and my gnome does not work anymore. it gives tons of crash messages (like panel crash etc etc..) and then just shows an empty screen.
KDE also does not work and displays the message kdeinit missing.
Do I need to reinstall both KDE and GNOME?
and if yes, how do I make sure that I have erased my earlier KDE and GNOME...
Please Please help.. I am really stuck
  :(
:newbie:

run "redhat-config-packages" to see whick packages you have installed, which packages you haven't instlled.
Also, if you know the package's name, can run "rpm -i PACKAGENAME.rpm" to uninstall it.
Hope this is helpful.

Edit: Sorry for my mistake and thank you Proud.

IIRC to uninstall you use the packaged app's name, not the filename with the .rpm ending. :)
