RHEL 6distribution


Hi I'm a newbie to Red Hat Linux and was wondering if anyone could tell me how and where I could get rhel 6 distribution?

You probably shouldn't get it. Get CentOS 6 instead. CentOS *IS* Redhat EL 6 but available to the communcity for completely free. http://centos.org

You *CAN* get a 30 day trial of rhel6 at redhat.com but without looking to have a commercial support agreement with Redhat, you really shouldn't use it.

and a word of warning

unless you MUST use RHEL / CentOS /Scientific Linux

It is a very poor choice for a general purpose HOME install

It was not designed for that use.

For the server or office or other special purpose use ,it is good .

but do NOT expect it to be a good home install
