RHEL 6 boot from pendrive?

Hello,
I am trying to install RHEL-6 from usb. The installation screen appears and everything is fine. After the selection of target devices where the os has to be installed, it says "the system has tried copying image in the hard disk but could not find". The image is in the pen drive. And it doesn't show pendrive as one of the options. The options are local hard disk, cd/dvd, nfs directory and url. I tried all the options and made trial n error. Nothing seems to work. Any help? Thanks for your time.

I had the same problem myself, (as did three others in our company!) we ended up taking the simple route of using an external DVD drive and booting from that.

You don't say how you formatted that drive, or what's on it. Did you make it bootable? Copy the ISO image, or use DD to put it onto the USB drive? Did you try to follow any of the tutorials you can find online, about how to do this?

More importantly, have you tried looking on the Red Hat knowledgebase, or calling Red Had support? You are PAYING FOR RHEL, right????

Shouldn't be any at all if you follow the instructions. Easily done, takes one extra step....
