Post RHEL 5 Cluster features

I have upgraded my OS from RHEL 3 to RHEL 5 and have found the unavailability of certain features which were avialable to me previously i.e while using RHEL 3 cluster and are missing from RHEL 5 cluster :

1. When i use the command "clustat" for the cluster status I get the following information:

RHEL 3 : Service name, service status, IP or server name on which the service is running, The time when the service was last restarted, Number of times the service has been restarted.

RHEL 5 : Service name, service status, IP or server name on which the service is running

Thus The time when the service was last restarted and the Number of times the service has been restarted were shown in clustat in RHEL 3 but are not showing in the same command in RHEL 5.

2. When we assign virtual IP to the cluster and check it using "ifconfig" command via the terminal, we are able to view the virtual IPs as a result of the command in RHEL 3 but the same is not shown in RHEL 5.

3. At times when one or more services has some issue and misbehaves, the services are automatically shifted to the other server. During this process the current server from which the services are shifted automatically shuts down when using RHEL 5 fencing feature whereas such an abrupt shutdown did not happen with RHEL 3 cluster while the services were shifted.

My query to you is that :

Q: Is RHEL 5 cluster deprived of the above functionalities ?

a) If the answer to the above question is 'NO', how can i make these functionalities available to me as in the case of RHEL 3 cluster ?

b) If the answer to the above question is 'YES', please suggest some alternatives ( third party tools etc. ) with the help of which i can accomplish the tasks which I used to do while using RHEL 3 cluster as listed above.

1) I cannot fathom how the upgrade was even possible. I would have done a fresh install of 5. FWIW.

2) The difference between RHEL3 cluster and RHEL5 cluster is... Surprise! Redhat moved the cluster stuff to an add-on suite that costs more money. AFIR.
