RHCE vs Windows Server (2008)
 

Hi friends..

This forum really rocks.I post my first 'THREAD' yesterday and within couple of minutes I got rpy.

Please tell me whats the difference b/w RHCE and Windows (2008).
I completed my MCITP.Now I'm going for RHCE certification also.Wheneva I go for interview they people ask Diff. b/w Windows Server and Linux Servers.So pls rpy me So I can satisfy interviewer

The difference? You can't answer that, it's impossible / pointless. For starters, RHCE is am IT certification, whilst Windows (2008) presumably relates to w2k8 server, which is an operating system. I assume you meant Redhat EL there though, but still there's no way to really give you an answer. If you google for "linux windows comparison" then you'll get plenty of hits, but if you're after a literal list of things with ticks and crosses against them, that's not right. I'd be pretty concerned that you feel the need to ask this question though. If you are happy to remember and recite an answer then you should not be in those interviews in the first place.

I agree with acid_kewpie. Also, if you're going to apply for jobs, you need to write/spell/speak clearly. This text-speak garbage doesn't make you look like anyone who is serious about a job.

The real differences are many...but they're so obvious, I can't imagine anyone asking that question in an interview. If you're going to work in a shop with both, then you need skills with both, and need to KNOW how they work, how they fit in with each other, and what the strengths/weaknesses of each are.
