rh9 installation hangs at "PCI: enabling device"
I´ve tried installing Redhat 9 on a new notebook (Bluedisk Artworker DM7 306T), but the installation (from CD) just hangs at the following message:
PCI: enabling device 00:02.6 (0000->0001) Any tips on how I (as a newcomer to Linux) might be able to track down & overcome the cause of this non-installation? Thanks! |
I'm having the exact same problem as this guy had last year but with Fedora Core 1. Any suggestions?

Try something newer like FC3. Redhat 9 is now obsolete, and FC1 will be heading the same way very soon.
