RH8, vmware install asking for C header files

i am trying to install VMWARE on my RH8 machine
and it asked for

"What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]"

where do i find these C header files n also
IF i dont have them..
where can i download them from?

i remember trying to install the C compiler before from the command line and ended up resorting to GUI package manager.

thanks

They should be there, but if they're not: install kernel-source for your distro. Search the disk
