RH 9 Mozilla Firebird 0.7 and fonts

Hi All,

I have previousl had little problems with fonts but this time I am having a nightmare! Ihave sett up my fonts using RH 9's fontconfig system (http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...1-x-fonts.html) and they appear in Gnome OK.

Firebird unfortunetley is still only showing the fonts it came with, what am I doing wrong?

Hi R4z0r,

have you installed Firebird with gtk2+xft support? The default tarball is not compiled with such support, which means it cannot even 'see' truetype fonts (which are the ones GNOME2 uses).

Try this version and see if things improve.

HTH

Andre

blueser,

Thanks for the link. Now Firebird displays pages better!
