restore/goback mode

Hello?

I was just curious if there's a GUI/Console feature that
makes system restore (go back) mode to work as in
Windows.

This is not the same as regular backup/restore.

Thanks.

i thought thats how system restore worked.. it just basically takes a snapshot of the [critical] system information, or the selected areas, and saves it, and you can recover/restore those settings as desired... which is basically overwritting certain files for your current setup with a backup.

Hi nadroj,

Thanks for your input. So, does Linux have this feature?
