restarting the sound service
Hi, for some reason, this is the second time that I don't get any sound from my debian sid, the first time I rebooted the system and then the sound back to work, but I don't want to do that this time, so my question s are:
1. the manager of the sound is alsamixer? 2. is there a command to restart the sound service? 3. is there a log file for the sound? regards |
I found a way, but I think is the brute force way:
#alsaconf #alsactl store #speaker-test then the sound works. If anyone have a better way, please let me know |
