Restart problem while installing openSUSE 10.2
 
I downloaded the dvd iso of openSUSE 10.2 using orbit downloader.
I burned it onto my dvd and tried to install from it. Whenver i select the install option, my system reboots.
My sys is a Compaq Presario having 512MB RAM and 40GB hard disk.
Please help me install linux !!!!
and let me know if any additional info is required.

What happens if you run the Media Check option on the DVD? Run it if you can.

check that and also when you download the file check the verify the md5 of the file with the given md5 to make sure you got everything correctly. Also I know that sometimes the restarts can be cause by bad memory. so if everything else checks out try and do a memtest, I am pretty sure suse comes with one on the disk, I think it is an option.
