resolution

hi slackers;
ı have installed slackware but ı have problem about kde resolution. My monitor is philips 107T graphic card is ati radeon 9600 Pro. Also I have tried others like mandrake, redhat and fedora and ı can use kde 1280x1024 on them. But in slackware it doesnt be higher than 1024x768... I can use gnome at 1280x1024 but ı cant use kde higher than 1024x768 ...
my xorg.conf file like this :
****************************
Section "Monitor"

Identifier "My Monitor"
*****************************
HorizSync 30.0 - 71.0
VertRefresh 50-160
****************************
Section "Device"
Identifier "Standard VGA"
VendorName "Unknown"
BoardName "Unknown"
*****************************
Section "Device"
Identifier "fglrx"
Driver "radeon"
#VideoRam 262144
# Insert Clocks lines here if appropriate
EndSection
******************************
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen 1"
Device "fglrx"
Monitor "My Monitor"
DefaultDepth 24

Subsection "Display"
Depth 8
Modes "1280x1024"
ViewPort 0 0
EndSubsection
Subsection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "1280x1024"
ViewPort 0 0
EndSubsection
Subsection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1280x1024"
ViewPort 0 0
EndSubsection
EndSection
***************************************
some parts of xorg.conf file like this. I have tried many things but every time kde starts 1024x768 . When kde is starting splash screen is 1280x1024 but a few seconds later become 1024x768 .
Now kde is 1024x768 at 85Hertz . I want to use kde at 1280x1024 at 60Hertz ı think my system support this because ı used before this mandrake fedora and redhat... I am hopeful because I can use gnome at 1280x1024 at same slackware but kde always 1024x768...
thnx.
