reset ssh configuration?

Hi

Please advice. After a strong recomendation i reset and re-installed my synology nas Diskstation firmware.

But most of the stuff i messed with in ssh has not been cleared out. The sshd_config file looks as new but i still see all the old useres and permissions i gave.
This has caused the nas not to work probraly. The situation is as before i re-installed firware.

I really need a way to reset all my ssh settings. Is there a way to start all over?

Please advice...
Br Hamid

Ok first, how are you getting to the conclusion that SSH is causing a problem with your NAS? Secondly, users are contained in the system itself, ssh does not have its own list of users or permissions. Although it does have some directives that will help restrict users, such as the permitrootlogin directive.

Because this all worked fine untill the actual point where i startet to mess with some settings inside ssh.

I am positive that the root cause are to be found there.

I can not see any way that these two are related. It's as if you are saying your car won't start because you put new tires on it, there is something else going on here. What log information do you have related to your nas issue? What is your actual problem?
