Rescue my Knoppix 5.0
Hi everyone, really this is my first experience with linux, my knowledge of linux is just a little bit, :confused: :confused: , Have a pentium IV that comes to me with knoppix 5, but for my job i have to install windows xp, I have created a new partition of HD (80 GB) with qtparted software, and installed windows XP, now windows take the hd for it and dont offer me the choice to start up with knoppix, someone can help me to make windows offers me dual boot choice?
You will need a linux CD to replace the bootloader grub, which will give you the choice of booting windows or ubuntu. I would suggest the live knoppix cd, but any live distro will be fine. There is a very bief description in the ubuntu wiki, which is here:
