Question Require squid proxy help...


Require squid proxy help...

I am using squid proxy on windows setup, I have install the squid on win2k3, after the configuration user can access the websites but inable to send and received the mails through Microsoft outlook, can anyone suggest me what do i do to get the access of mails

Kindly guide me on the same...

If its not a transparent proxy then you will have to configure Outlook to pass through your proxy server just as you configured your browsers.
Also if you want to have a transparent proxy look around the forum and you will find lot of satisfactory solutions for your problem.

Hey i done the same settings,But the problem is still same n even i tried transparent proxy and IPtable too... cant get the proper solution...

Require more guidance on the same kindly let me know what information u require to help me out....

What setup do you have presently? Is your squid working transparently?
Start from basics. Just make it work first. Then apply the iptables rules to make it transparent. Can you give your squid configuration?

No its not transparent proxy or not ip tables configure


Can u give me ur mail is so i can send u the configuration file directly if u don't have problem
