Question Requesting Free Guides

Hi everyone!
I've just registered into LinuxQuestions.org today, and in the Home page there was a link in wich I could request a free guide (Introduction to Linux - A Hands On Guide, from Machtelt Garrels; there was another one too, but I don't remember the name now). I found it would be worth having such a guide, as I'm quite new to the core world of Linux (if I can say so). Anyway, I tried to subscribe filling the blanks with the necessary information (except for "Company Name, and related stuff). I'm still studying, so that I dont' work at a company yet. I tried filling the "Company Name" blank with the word "None", but didn't succeed. I would like to know if is there any way so that I can request any of these free guides, even being a student, or if the aim of these guides is to company purposes?
By the way, I don't live in the US. The guide is also offered for overseas countries?

With attention

I don't know about any offers from LQ, but here's a link to Garrels's Introduction to Linux.

There's a PDF for download on this page: http://www.tldp.org/guides.html.
