Request for URLs
 

Can anyone point me to a few websites that are geared for a complete linux noob? aside from installing linux, i have no idea what to do once i get it installed. Sure, its up and running and all but how do i go about compiling, installing programs, packages, etc. any help is appreciated, thanks!

Edit: Seriously, your distro most likely also has some forums that you should find help on, also.
