repository setup question
Greetings all,
I am setting up SuSE 10.1 and I am looking to get some ideas for information repositories. I know how to add a repositories, etc., so what I am looking for is a recommendation of what/how many I should have to ensure my system is up to date and can find new software when needed. Are there specific types of repositories (update, source, etc.) and if so what are they? Right now I have the following configured: -Packman -Update repository -inst-source repository -non-oss-inst-source Is this a good set or can it be altered to be more efficient? I am planning on using Smart as the Zen/Yast package management is very slow and painful. Thanks, Chad |
There's a sticky thread about this in the Distributions/Suse section.
