removing splash on boot


I am running mint 10 on a lappy and do recall doing this earlier but I can't remember how I did it (just liked the look of the rolling text rather than the splashscreen). A little help would be appreciated.

If it's grub2 I think you edit grub theme in
/etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme

that's assuming linuxmint is debian-based.
but if not it may give a direction to look.
