remove missing repo


I need to remove a repo but not sure how.


[root@localhost etc]# yum update
Loaded plugins: langpacks, refresh-packagekit
adobe-linux-x86_64 | 951 B 00:00
http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
Trying other mirror.

Can you grep "fedorapeople" from /etc/yum.repos.d/* ?

Also try the yum cleanup utility

Also, given you've got several different repo sets there, you may want to try this http://wiki.centos.org/PackageManagement/Yum/Priorities - Fedora has an equivalent pkg.

that looks like the bad google chrome repo

Code:
su -
rpm -qa | grep google
one of them will be "google-chrome"

use the name in the list

su -
yum remove google-chrome
also you can disable the "adobe-linux-x86_64"
it has been known to cause all kinds of problems
-- it goes down ALL the time --
and there will be NO more flash updates
