remove linux
hi,
I want to remove my opensuse 11.00 completely to shift to other versions. Please let me know how I can remove linux completely. Regards, |
just install a new version over it
|
All you have to do is install a different version of Linux---tell the installer to use the same partition where SUSE is now.
For better help, give us the complete configuration of the computer. |
Regarding the configuration of my system, I have:
Intel core(TM)2 Quad CPU 2.4GHz RAM: 8.00 GB Hard: 160 GB I have 50GB for my linux. First, I want to learn to remove linux completely. Second, I want to know how to install a new version of linux when I do not need my previous data and I want to remove them all. (because by installing the new version the previous data is not removed.) Regards, |
And again: you don't need to "remove" anything. Just install the new one,
if you're really keen change the partitioning on install, otherwise just format the disk with the new install. Cheers, Tink |
