There is a package called rdesktop that implement's MS's remote desktop protocol. I've generally had good luck getting it to work, but have noticed a few oddities (failures to connect correctly).

Hi I have used Kununtu and the remote desktop works without any problems. There is a program under Internet menu that comes preinstalled with Kubuntu called Krdc. You then need to install the rdesktop package using adept and that's it. Everything works!

EDIT: Thanks again,

There's also a few GUI interfaces available for "rdesktop". One of them, which I've been using with good results - is "Xdrdesktop".
The good thing about this one, is that it makes it easy to have your own local printer available when your'e connected to the Windows 2003-server (so that you could for instance print out from MS-Word to your printer). You'll find it on Sourceforge.
