reiserfs rescue
 

I really screwed up a kernel recompile by forgetting to compile in reiserfs support (which is how my root system is set up). I have a debian rescue disk but I can't find an option to boot with reiserfs support so I just end up with a kernel panic. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get back in to restore my old kernel?

I made some progress by using the gentoo live cd. I chrooted into my system and selected the OLD in lilo. So I've got my old kernel now!
