Unhappy ReInstalling Windows 2000 & 98

Hello guys!
I've installed Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Red Hat Linux 8 in my machine (one hard disk). But Win 2K giving troubles and I want to format both partitions (D: - where the Windows 2000 installed and , C: - where Win 98 installed) . What will happen if I do this? Will it damage my Linux Installation (i've used Grub as my boot loader) ??

Thanks

If you reinstall Windows, it *WILL NOT* damage your Linux partition meaning that the data will not be lost (Provided you don't play around with partitions). But your MBR will be rewritten meaning that you will lose your GRUB and you will not be able to boot into your Linux directly. This can be easily solved. Boot with the rescue disk and restore GRUB back to the MBR.

Try with this:
1 - insert redhat 8 disk1 and at boot restore your old linux (it should be something like vmlinuz root=/hdxy noinitrd (x is generally a and y is the number of your partition).

After login, as superuser type grub-install /dev/hdx.
