Reinstallation problems
 

I had two partitions on a Compaq Deskpro ep/sp series ,windows 2000 and puppy linux.I put 512 mb on the Puppy partition. Some of Puppy was installed to the hard drive. When I uninstalled Windows,I uninstallled Puppy. Now when I try to reinstall Puppy,I get the error that no suitable partition is available and it won't save anything.I seem to have li cache at 32 k,l2 cache at 512 k and 128 memory. Please advise.
I can't install Ubantu as it says my bios is 1999,too old.

did you try reformating the parition again?
