Regularly updating yum - automatic
 

Dear All,

I would like to get all my workstations to automatically update its centos on daily basis using yum update.

Besides using cron job which i know it'll works, but out of curiosity, can yum update runs some kind of cron by itself?

How to bypass the password asking if it needs root's permission??

yum schedule

use it to run the task as root.
There might be a cleverer way to do it but this should work easily.
