Regarding Linux Mail Server

Hi Friends,

I need some help on Linux Mail Server, I have configured mail server on CentOS 6.5 with Sendmail and Devocot service's, everything is working fine yet, this mail server configured on virtual machine for testing, our official main mails working by Microsoft exchange server, Now I am planning to do same services what service are running in that server...

1. In MS exchange server we are having one public address book, if we create user/mail id and configure outlook client then that new user is having all email ID which are created in exchange server, even we kept groups like HR, Accounts, Marketing etc... if new user wants send mail to anyone just he is clicking on To/CC/BCC and he is getting all available email ID/Groups...

The same service i want to do in my centos machine (FYU- I am able to create new user and login with outlook/thunderbird kind of clients)..

2. In exchange server we have shared one folder called public folder, and kept some files , those file able to access by particular group in mails/outlooks...

The same service I want to do by centos...

This 2 main service i need to do in my virtual machine, if i can then i will talk with our seniours and will migrate from ms exachange to centos..>

If you want shared resources such as address books/folders, you will have to configure LDAP to work with your mail system. Did you try to look at the documentation for sendmail, or check Google out for any resources regarding shared address books/folders?? A brief search turns up:
http://www.brennan.id.au/20-Shared_A...Book_LDAP.html

Since you've been working with Sendmail now for at least two years:

...you should know to check the documentation first.
