redirecting kernel's printk of an error message
I am installing debian woody on a box that has a known conflict between woody's default kernel and the mainboard (ASUS A7A266 w/ALImagic chipset).
From what I have encountered off of various newsgroups - the conflict is harmless other than a rather annoying printk that shows up about every 10secs.
I would like to know how to redirect this error to /dev/null such that I can at least finish installing woody in a sane manner.
Any suggestions?
