redirect user.domain.com to www.domain.com/user

Hello,

The users on my server access their space via www.domain.com/username.
However, I would prefer they have access through username.domaine.com directly.

Is there a way to do that without adding a lot of subdomains to the bind domain configuration?

Best regards,

macadam

Set up virtual hosts in your apache config. Check out the apache docs for more information.

Hi,

thanks for your answer...I know how it works.
The question is, it there a more effective way than to create all DNS entries and all virtualhosts???
Imagine doing that for 1000 users...better stay with the http://www.mydomain.com/username that to do something else!

Regards,

macadam
