I have a mac server that I'm about to upgrade from tiger to leopard, so I figured while I'm wait for the delivery of the leopard I could fool around wit zodh my email server of which is currently supported by fedora 6, So what I'm looking to do is move it from my fedora 6 and host it on my mac. Any suggestions as to how to perform this function?

I have never heard of the zodh e-mail server (Google search also comes up empty).. do you have a link ?

I believe Apples xserve email server uses Postfix and Cyrus IMAP/POP.

you need to better explain what Program you are currently using for mail and what exactly you are trying to accomplish.. the reception is coming across very fuzzy at this end.

is it a PHP mail script you need to redirect ?

please elaborate on exactly what you have configured now and what you are trying to do..

I had someone set it up for me but they did give me the instructions as to what I really had. so right know I have a huge paper weight taking up space. I got a could of email that reference myphp so I think thats where my email server and website is pointing to. But i can't tell because its all latin to me.

Well if it's PHP you need to modify, locate your php.ini file..
Code:
Setting extension-specific variables

Extension-specific variables are stored in separate sections of the configuration
file. For example, all the variables related to the MySQL extension should be in
the [MySQL] section of the php.ini file.

If you're going to use PHP's mail() function, there are three variables you may
need to set. The SMTP and sendmail_from variables (on Windows) or the sendmail_
path variable (on UNIX) are used when sending e-mail messages through PHP's mail()
function. On Windows, these variables set the SMTP server to be used and the
From: address to display in e-mail messages; on UNIX, the sendmail_path variable
 sets the path of the MTA (mail transfer agent) for mail delivery:

SMTP = myserver.localnet.com

sendmail_from = me@localhost.com

sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail
I am guessing you are running a web site on that machine and it can no longer
send emails to people for notifications, etc ? ?
