And is there a question here?? Downloading the source for ANY Linux distro is a bit involved, so what's the point about Red Hat?

Why would you want to download more than one or two packages.SRC.RPM ? ?
Usually only done, when you want a customized rebuild of an src.rpm.

? No payed for Redhat account ?
Then use the identical CentOS or ScientificLinux. They are free versions of RHEL.
You can migrate http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/MigrationGuide
... and get free "Redhat packages" with # yum install <package>

no it is not

buy the required support contract
register your install
and use "yum" to grab the src.rpm packages

it is VERY VERY EASY
