Angry Redhat Release 9

Hi Folks
Doesn't linux redhat come preinstalled with a java vm?
How do I get all the applets to run inside mozilla?

Hello tiredoflogins!

Download J2SE v 1.4.2_05 JRE
The J2SE Java Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications.

I would download the .bin file and not the rpm. I had some trouble with it in the past. The bin install is easy too.

Check the Install notes

PS: look what I found on LQ with the search option:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...highlight=java
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ghlight=javavm
and there are plenty of other posts with java-vm

Cheers, Boby!
