redhat packages that I don't want keep installing
This is happening repeatedly, with both RHEL4 and 5. I go through the list of packages that I want to install, yet after the installation is completed, all sorts of stuff is installed that I didn't want. As an example, I always make sure that mysql database is not checked, and I uncheck printer packages, which always defaults as checked. Yet after the install is completed, both are always installed. Does anyone know why redhat insists on installing stuff I don't want? I could understand if it had dependencies on other packages, but when I'm doing a minimal install and I've clicked the bare essentials to install, I can't imagine that mysql would be a dependency for anything.
