redhat or slackware ?

Hi All

Ive been using red hat 9 for a couple of months now, the other day i installed Fedora and hate it,

Its got smooth edges and reminds me of XP to much,

Ive just downloaded slackware, I wanted your views on this distro, is it easy to use and better than Fedora ?

Is it a good OS for a beginer ?

thanks for reading.

It lets you have the capability of going as far as you want, and somehow makes you learn fast if you are willing to research and study, or if you learn like I do by playing my favorite game of "Whats this button do? <click> Oops." -trial and error. But also if, for example of ease, you can't compile an application you need to use, there is probably a precompiled slack-package out there with the application or similar application for easy install.
