Redhat linux, httpd.conf redirection with paramater

Hi,

We are using httpd.conf (OS - Redhat linux) to configure apache module for LDAP authentication. After authentication, we need to redirect to another url with parameter login Id. The redirection happens, but we are uable to pass the user Id value.

So far we tried apache mode_jk, but couldn't get any sucesss. Please help.

Hi and welcome to LQ,

You can use apache mod_rewrite and the %{REMOTE_USER} variable in the RewriteCond to pass the authenticated userid to a new URL.
