Hi All,

I am trying to configure redhat cluster first time but no idea how to do it. I am using rhel 5.2. I have copied cluster rpms from redhat media and tried to install them but facing alot of dependencies problem. Can some one please guide how can i do redhat clustering from start. I am doing this for configuring single node clustering for zimbra suite but it is the requirement to configure redhat cluster first.

One more thing i am using two virtual machines installed by using virtual box. Please share some knowledge

Unhappy Red hat cluster

Hello Eric,

Thanks for your reply,

This link give me a good start now doing this configuration given below.

but when finished and started system-config-cluster again i got error this node is not part of the cluster. when i tried to start these service non of them is recognized saying unrecognized services.

#service ccsd start
#service lock_gulmd start or service cman start according to the type
#service fenced start (DLM clusters only)
#service clvmd start
#service gfs start, if you are using Red Hat GFS
#service rgmanager start

How can resolve these services issue and make this node part of cluster? I have two virtual machines. Configuring this one first machine as node1 cluster. Please also give me some idea about fence device.

Thanks in Advance,
