Question problems after installing slackware


I've installed slackware, and after rebooting nothing happends.
It just says

Grub version ...
[minimal bach-like line and so on..

grub>

what am I suppose to do? what whent wrong?

need a bit more info: did you have lilo or grub installed?
whose partition did you overwrite?
seems you lack a /boot/grub/grub.conf file

if you know grub a little, here's a tip so you can fix your system: at grub prompt try
find /vmlinuz
print out a sample grub.conf from any forum to use as reference
